Turnak Lodge is a fantastic mountain hideaway, situated above the snowline in Guthega Village in the Kosciuszko National Park, NSW. With picturesque and dramatic views over Guthega Dam towards the snow-capped ridge line of the main range that borders NSW and Victoria, Turnak provides excellent access to downhill skiing in Perisher Valley, outback skiing along the main range, as well as fishing in the Snowy River and hiking toward Charlotte Pass. Turnak Lodge sleeps up to 18 people and was originally designed in 1962 by renowned Sydney architect John James, who brought to the project a clear vision of blending the lodge with its unique alpine surroundings. The Club underwent a total renovation in 2016 and is now a modern, wonderfully appointed lodge, sleeping 18 guests in comfort. Open throughout the summer to non-member sporting clubs, family groups, and private enterprise, Turnak Lodge allows guests to enjoy the many sports and activities on offer at the Snowy Mountains National Park – a great location for your yearly get a way.
