Pakistan Information Security Association (PISA) is a hub for all information security and cyber security professionals, for promoting international best practices to protect the cyber space of Pakistan. This is an NGO initiative for bringing onboard all stake holders those are industry professionals, academia, government organizations and private sector Entrepreneurs, to come forward and assist in the efforts of government of Pakistan to create awareness against increasing cyber crimes and to educate general public on the possible threats being posed by hackers and other technological tools to damage the web based resources of public and private sector organizations. It started in 2004, now Pakistan Information Security Association (PISA) exists as an organized group of professionals in all three major cities (Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad). Monthly meetings of PISA provide a platform for all technical professionals to educate students and junior industry professionals to learn about latest tools and services to protect information assets of their respective organizations. international best practices are explained by the industry standard professionals for obtaining internationally organized certified training courses in the area of information security, as well.
