TOUZET STUDIO is an award-winning architecture and interior design studio located in Coral Gables, FL. Founded in 2004 by Cuban-American architects Carlos Prio Touzet, AIA and Jacqueline González Touzet AIA, LEED AP, Touzet Studio is consistently ranked as one of the top design firms in Florida and was the AIA Miami Firm of the Year in 2021. The Studio has been recognized internationally and locally with numerous design awards and press. Touzet Studio has a collaborative, design-focused studio environment that fosters research and creativity to create innovative solutions for complex design challenges. As a boutique studio in a global firm environment, our approach is specific to each client and mindful of each site. Whether designing a mixed-use high rise, a flagship retail experience, or a custom residence- we are deeply focused on every phase of the project, from design research to execution of details and craftsmanship. Our practice is very focused on sustainable and climate specific design for the Subtropics, Florida and the Caribbean. Although we are futurists that love to push the boundaries of technology – we also deeply value the history, culture and identity of each site. We are committed to preserving and re-using exemplary architecture in our adaptive reuse and preservation projects and seek to use sustainable and reclaimed materials whenever possible. Our roster of select clients also includes some of the most discerning and design focused companies and individuals in the world such as Nike and Apple, Morgan’s Hotel Group and design focused developers. A significant focus of our work is also on the luxury residential market for select private clients. We also design custom interiors and bespoke furnishings in collaboration with some of the best craftsmen and makers in the world.
