Mission “Sharing Jesus, serving Him and strengthening Christians 
with excellence for the glory of God” If a ministry is going to have direction, structure, aligned activities, and controls, it must have a Mission Statement that will allow it to pursue its purpose efficiently and effectively. A Mission Statement succinctly captures God's desire for our church. It clearly articulates why First Baptist Church of Sevierville exists. The Mission Statement defines what it means for FBC to be fruitful, to produce the outcomes that will please God. Vision Develop an Acts 1:8 culture, maximize the power of prayer, make disciples of every member, identify and develop leaders, create connections with excellence for the glory of God. Develop an Acts 1:8 Culture (Acts 1:8) Center every member and ministry around a missions purpose reaching every person in Sevierville, North America and the World. Maximize the Power of Prayer (Luke 10:2) Prayer will be the basis of all we do for Kingdom growth and spiritual awakening. Make Disciples (Matthew 16:24 & 26) Lead members to develop individual spiritual growth through personal, small group and mentoring relationships. Discover passions, gifts and callings and using them for Kingdom growth. Equip and train to develop every member to be a Matthew 16:24 & 26 disciple.
