Corporate social Responsibility has been identified as an activity where the corporate makes good the resources back into the environment for sustainability and prosperity of both the people and the planet. Though the concept of CSR is not new, many companies have since ages been contributing towards the welfare of the people and the environment, but since the dawn of the new Companies Act, 2013, making it mandatory for the companies to contribute towards CSR activities, above a certain threshold, many corporates are clue less about the gamut of activities that they can take up under the new norms of CSR. Likewise, even the NGO’s who are looking for financial help for the various projects and activities, are finding difficult to approach the corporates.
