Karze is a brand of all local, fine things from Himachal & unlike a lot of homegrown brands, Karze is run by a local mountain woman. Karze is the brain child of Tusharika Goswami, a daughter of a town called Rampur Bushahr. Having had the opportunity to grow alongside lush orchards and serene greenery, Tusharika enjoyed the fruits of living it up in the hills much until, she later moved for higher education outside of Himachal Pradesh & later settled in Bangalore post her marriage. Over time, the only option to rely on mass produced and flavour infused jams, polished pulses & dry fruits, chemical induced beauty products, Fast Fashion became a pestering matter of concern specially after her son was born as just the way, she enjoyed a very healthy, nutritious & sustainable lifestyle growing up in the mountains, she wished the same for her child. With time, Tusharika realized that this was a concern, a lot of other city folks too resonate with & there was clearly a gap in the market in terms of pure, local, sustainable, authentic, source to table products so she began thinking of ways to not only get her friends and acquaintances to experience the farm fresh produce or the goodness of sustainable Fashion & wellness from Himachal, but also decided to empower the community there by building a platform to showcase their talent & unbounded potential and spread the sheer joy of mountain goodness to the world. Thus, Karze was born.
