finum® is dedicated to the development and production of filters and accessories for the manual preparation of tea, coffee and spices - for better taste and a careful use of natural resources. The German parent company Riensch & Held was founded in 1845 as an overseas trading company between Europe and the Americas. Today our production facilities and headquarters are located in Hamburg, Germany. Our US subsidiary Finum North America Corp. is based in Hackensack, New Jersey. The company's filter products can also be found by consumers around the world under further brands, namely as OEM components, e.g. as water filters in coffee machines, as well as under well-known food brands and the private labels of retailers. Of particular note are the paper filters for infusion of tea and coffee, where the company is holding a leading position for many years now.
