Pakpour Consulting Group, Inc. (PCG) is a San Francisco Bay Area civil engineering design and project management firm representing a diverse public sector client base. PCG was founded in 2004 by four close friends that had collectively worked at 11 different companies and public agencies. They knew what worked and more importantly what did not work in an organization. They started PCG so they could work with the clients they wanted to and not be hampered by high billing rates, utilization rates, overhead, and all the other things that come with larger firms. Work / life balance was, and continues to be, the cornerstone of the firm. Our aspirations were and are grounded: make enough money and have enough time to enjoy what we love. During the past 18 years our firm has grown from the four founding members to 13 professionals serving as contract city and district engineer and providing water distribution, transportation, flood control, construction review and management services. We work exclusively with public agencies and the majority of our staff has worked in some capacity for public agencies, making us uniquely qualified to understand the requirements, challenges and program objectives of municipalities. During our nearly two decades of existence, we have had only two technical staff leave our company, and one was due to retirement.
