Transformation Waco is a non-profit, in-district charter partnership managing and operating five schools and supporting community needs. Signed in 2017, Senate Bill 1882 provided incentives to districts who chose to work with new and existing partners to promote innovation and improve student outcomes. Using this statutory authority, Waco ISD and Prosper Waco entered into a three-year partnership agreement in April 2018 to operate the five campuses of Transformation Waco.
