The Human Wellbeing Initiative was formed in 2018 as a think-tank collaborative with the expressed purpose of finding ways to bring people back to the center of healthcare. Mental health has long been a focus of our efforts, as the field has been plagued by difficulties in definitively quantifying all of the underlying characteristics of mental health wellness and disease. This makes accurate and consistent mental health risk factor identification in a clinical setting difficult, to say the least.
