Al-Kitab University College was established in the year 2012 according to the license of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, IRAQ, No. G H 1655 dated March 26th 2013. The launch of the study started practically in the academic year 2012- 2013 with three Departments, namely: department of Law, Department of Computer Technical Engineering, and Department of Banking and Financial Sciences. Currently this an academic institute has 18 department in different qualifications (Medical, Engineering, Management, law, Education, etc.) via departments as follow: 1. Dept. of Dentistry. 2. Dept. of Pharmacy. 3. Dept. of Pathological analysis techniques. 4. Dept. of Oil Engineering. 5. Dept. of Computer Technical Engineering. 6. Dept. of Law. 7. Dept. of International relations and diplomacy. 8. Dept. of Business Administration. 9. Dept. of Finance and Banking Sciences. 10. Dept. of English education. 11. Dept. of Sports Education. 12. Dept. of Anesthesia. 13. Dept. of Nursing. 14. Dept. of Radiation and sonar techniques. 15. Dept. of Medical Device Technologies. 16. Dept. of Optics. 17. Dept. of Surveying Engineering. 18. Dept. of Accounting. The important objectives are: 1. Providing the best quality of knowledge in all fields of pure and human sciences. 2. Developing the scientific, practical, and social competence of students to prepare and qualify them to be prospective leaders in their profession. 3. Contributing to human knowledge through discovery and scientific research in cooperation with the pioneering institutions in the world. 4. Creating excellent reputation of higher education in the country that flourishes the ground for a prestigious university of a top international rank.
