The college now enrolls approximately 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students and employs more than 70 full-time faculty members. Here at Klein College, academic and creative exchanges occur between and among a wide variety of disciplines. The college offers cross-disciplinary programs in communication studies; public relations; advertising; journalism; media studies and production; and communication and social influence. Students complete courses of study leading to the Doctor of Philosophy; Master of Arts; Master of Journalism; Master of Science; or Bachelor of Arts. Our professors and students are a group of talented, motivated individuals who are exploring the role of communication in public life through creative performance, hard news reporting, and commercially-oriented media. The more than 20,000 alumni include writers at national newspapers such as The New York Times and the Washington Post; top executives at Warner Brothers, NBC News, and Universal Music Group; eight Pulitzer Prize winners; and academics at top institutions around the world.
