The Artesia Fire Department was established in 1905. We are currently staffed with 35 personnel. There are 30 firefighters and 5 Administrative staff. We strive for excellence and continually seek ways to improve.The Artesia Fire Department has a proud tradition of delivering outstanding customer service. Members of the department spend hundreds of hours every year learning the latest response technology and honing their skills in training sessions. Our first priority is to respond to the needs of our citizens in a professional and expeditious manner. Every member of this department is dedicated to service.
