Ammar Tariq Education Foundation
www.ammartariqeducationfoundation.comOur Mission at the Ammar Tariq Education Foundation (ATEF) is to provide opportunities for refugees and disenfranchised persons a catalyst in their journey up the ladder to success. Our target for this mission spans across North America and the South Asian region in helping those living in extreme poverty by relieving basic burdens as a means to pursue an education. Our assistance comes in many forms, including academic scholarships, food and housing assistance and other types of financial aid. According to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, a fulfilled individual must meet his/her physiological and environmental needs before all else. At ATEF, we believe that the true path to success encompasses all of one’s needs, whether it’s getting food on the table so that a single refugee mother can have the time to pursue an education, or providing assistance through scholarship and academic achievement. Our structure of assistance provides flexibility no matter what rung of the ladder our candidates are standing on. Whether they are at the beginning of their marathon to success, or if they are already halfway there, our services include helping feed refugee/under-privileged families, providing clothing in times of difficulty, and assisting in relieving academic expenses.
