Conductive education, developed in Hungary in 1945, is an intensive, multi-disciplinary approach to education, training, and development for children with cerebral palsy, spina bifida,and other motor challenges. Conductive education methodology has a transformative effect on mobility and independence. Using a holistic and intensive approach that combines medical knowledge with educational methods, a child can gain control over his or her body – and accomplish tasks never thought possible. At the Conductive Learning Center, our goal for every student is that he or she becomes confident, active, and self-reliant. Our conductor teachers help children achieve a maximum level of independence so he or she has the ability to enter school, the community, and – ultimately the workforce.
