Caring Together
www.caringtogether.orgWe are a charity that operates across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and Norfolk providing support to family carers and the people they care for. Caring Together offer a range of support for carers and people they care for including: * Information, advice and guidance to help you at every stage of your caring journey. * Care in your home and community for adults and children. * Dedicated staff to identify and arrange support for you. * Emotional support including Listening Ear and counselling. * Specific support for young carers and young adult carers. * Local carer groups and support from other carers. * Carer training and learning opportunities. * Providing breaks away from your caring role. * Help to plan for the unexpected. We are a network partner of Carers Trust, Britain’s leading provider of support for family carers and the people they care for. We are proud to support more than 17,000 carers, their families and the people who support them, every year, but there are an estimated 178,000 carers living in our region. And this number is rising. We employ trained professionals, providing flexible services to people of all ages and with a range of disabilities and health conditions. As a charity, we care for people not for the profit. Our care workers love their work. They understand what family carers, and those they care for, need and feel. They know the simple things that really matter, they do the hard jobs with a smile and they take pleasure in fitting into family life. It’s no surprise then, that our staff build long and trusted relationships and that more people turn to us for support than to any other social care provider.
