We are a group of young public health engineers who have set up a network within The Society of Public Health Engineers (SoPHE) to provide us with the opportunity to meet other linked minded young engineers in the public health industry. As well as social events, we aim to provide the opportunity to learn more about the fundamentals of public health engineering through a series of evening CPDs. We aim to organise trips to manufacturers’ factories as well as their training and testing centres to learn more about the products we specify on projects. We also aim to arrange trips to live project sites to see first-hand public health systems installed on site and learn about the installation methods and testing/commissioning.
