Healthcare Human Factors is the largest Human Factors team dedicated to healthcare internationally. Acting as consultants, researchers, designers and evaluators, we are setting standards and developing best practices for human factors in healthcare, leading cultural change and making an impact locally and worldwide. Located within one of the largest academic health science centres in the world at University Health Network, we are embedded in the healthcare setting with access to clinical users and patients that we design, test and create for. Our state-of-the-art simulation labs allow us to conduct high-fidelity usability tests on medical devices, digital therapeutics, healthcare environments, and innovative service delivery models.
