The EL BAT JSC, is founded in 1993 for production of refined lead in Bulgaria. The main activity of the company is treatment and recycling of various types of lead-containing wastes and car battery scrap. The production technology is in accordance with the best techniques and technologies in this sphere. The company is constantly developing and improving it’s certified management system, under the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO14001 and BS ОHSAS 18001, issued by LRQA. For achieving of maximum traceability, efficient monitoring and control of all stages, starting from the import of raw materials, through out recycling and production activities until finishing with bundle packaging and final delivery to customers. The complete range of products of EL BAT, includes: soft lead, all lead-based alloys, boutique lead-alloys made according to client specifications and requests, lead-storage containers for radioactive materials, manufacturing of lead keel and lead details. The company additionally produces sodium sulphate and polypropylene plastic. All materials to be recycled by EL BAT, are the following: lead-acid batteries, lead scrap metals (lead containing only - cables, sheets, pipes), lead bullion, lead grids and lead paste.
