Founded in 1988, Accent Music has deep roots in the music business. An important part of the Accent Music story is the School of Contemporary Music. This educational facility houses 28 studios with more than 40 teachers and provides the Delaware community with private lessons on most musical instruments including voice. SoCM students have gone on to schools like Berklee and Philadelphia College of the Performing Arts. The School of Contemporary Music is a community of musicians where students, teachers and families are committed to learning about, promoting and experiencing music together.
