The Pleau Company was founded in 1920 at Saint-Emile (Quebec) as a family owned factory and better known because of Gaby Pleau, a multiple race champion between, 1938 to 1943 as a member of the National Alpine Ski Team. From 1970 to 1972, the company was chosen by the National Canadian Team as the athletes’ official supplier for after ski boots.
