HIS Breast Cancer Awareness is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization supporting the awareness and education of male breast cancer. Founded in 2009 by a BRCA2 positive brother and sister who have both been diagnosed with breast cancer. We are a brother and sister who have both been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Our family history has been affected by several different types of cancer over the years. We founded HIS Breast Cancer Awareness in 2009 because we found it difficult to obtain information specific to Breast Cancer in Men even though several other female and immediate family members have lived with and dealt with Breast Cancer. We are both BRCA2 Positive. We have 5 children between us (all boys). Because each of our son's has a 50/50 chance of also being BRCA2 Positive, our goals are to create a life where this disease does not exist or can be easily managed or personally avoided by their day to day lifestyle. HIS Breast Cancer Awareness is a good information source for Male Breast Cancer. We are here to help educate and bring awareness that not just women may have to deal with the risk of or a positive diagnosis of breast cancer.
