The Iowa Crime Prevention Association was formed in 1981 by a small group of law enforcement officers who saw the need to work together to bring crime prevention programs to their communities. Since that time, the Iowa Crime Prevention Association has grown to include Police Departments, Sheriff's Offices, State Agencies, Campus Security and Police Agencies, Private and Corporate Security Agencies, and Businesses.
