The field of medicine is immensely vast and can intimidate even the smartest of the lot. But beyond this layer of complexity lies an ocean of knowledge that has spiked the fascination and curiosity of the human mind for centuries. Unfortunately this fascination towards the subject seems to have gotten lost among the vast majority of students in the field of medicine today. Medicine is no longer understood and enjoyed the way it was meant to be. We wanted to do something about it. Firstclass was born out of our amazement and innate curiosity towards the subject of medicine. We wanted to infuse that sense of delight, when we first started reading it, into our fellow colleagues and even enthusiasts alike. We really hope we can reinvigorate that sense of wonder and awe in the midst of present day students. We hope, they in turn, will spread the joy of this vast yet delightful subject.
