Africa Construction Law (ACL) is a pan-African initiative set up by construction law practitioners across Africa and in the diaspora to promote thought leadership in the field of construction law and practice in Africa. ACL is managed by a global steering committee made up of leading construction law practitioners from across 20+ African countries; working in top law firms in Africa, London and United Arab Emirates. The global steering committee is made up of directors; sub-regional representatives for the 6 African sub-regions (Francophone, Lusophone, Southern, Eastern, Western, & Northern Africa) and country representative for each African country. ACL is run under the guidance of an Advisory Board comprising leading construction law experts and other professionals involved in the resolution of construction disputes, drawn from a diverse background including African and international law firms, construction consulting firms and academic institutions. The members of the Advisory Board are senior and experienced professionals and ACL draws from this diverse expertise and extensive experience in pioneering leading initiatives that shape the construction legal industry across the continent of Africa. ACL is happy to discuss and collaborate with organisations and individuals who share similar objectives for the African continent.
