Our journey began as one of our founders began to find her health declining to the point where the option of working for someone else was soon no longer going to be a viable option for income. We began to realize that there are others out there that are looking for the means to support themselves, but often found employers lacking empathy and/or the ability to accommodate their needs.  The search for "Requiem", old world for "final peace", began.  When it couldn't be found within the structures of Corporate America, we decide to create our own organization that would have the structure to accommodate her needs and similar needs of others like her and be a blending of old world philosophies into modern day business models.   We are a new business that is looking to the old world guild system for guidance. A "Village to care for a community." Our business has several "specialties".  We produce home gardening systems for any living or office situation to encourage people to grow their own foods that will accommodate their particular needs.  We also have a line of as close to natural home and health care products for those who are attempting to live a "chemical free" life. With our "Friends of Requiem" project, we will be more involved with assisting old world crafters in arranging educational classes and act as an avenue to advertise and sell their crafts, so they can focus on their heart and passion of crafting. Our future aspirations are to assist neighborhoods in the San Antonio area with creating Community Shared Agriculture Gardens, be able to accommodate those with special needs in reaching their employment goals,  and to reach a point where our organization can be completely self-sustaining for all employees.
