HOW THE FG Propriedade Intelectual AROSE: A little of our history. It all started when attorney and industrial property agent Franklin Gomes, who had already advised several companies in cases involving intellectual property and criminal law, noticed the opportunity of offering excellent services to a specific audience. The Franklin Gomes Advogados office was already involved in what is called the administrative part of intellectual property, which includes the elaboration of orders and measures to ensure the registration at multiple agencies, both in Brazil and abroad. However, this was an activity carried out only for active clients of the office, that is, who trusted their judicial issues or opinions involving intellectual property and criminal law to our team. His experience as a Director of the Brazilian Association of Industrial Property Agents – South (ABAPI SUL) was the decisive landmark for the foundation of FG Marcas & Patentes. The partner had the opportunity of getting in touch with several brands and patents companies, and he acknowledged that there was indeed a challenge to seek: to transform the provision of services offered through education and the construction of a new and innovative culture. This is how the idea of a content-focused company came about, with the mission of educating and transferring knowledge about the importance of Intellectual Property, and how to transform companies and businesses so that they can have social impact and capital growth.
