Scallabouche is fragmented theatre. Fragmented ideas built on fragmented opportunities that occur without much planning or forethought. A bit like life, we react to what is around us and see where the next step can be taken. Creating our shows out of often disconnected fragments, allowing the story to assemble itself in rehearsal as well as in performance in an approach which seems to keep everyone guessing, audience and actors alike, and provides a very special, spontaneous, live energy.
