StreetPoetz.com was created as a means of sharing our talents which might otherwise go un-noticed. Our philosophy was created from the thought that, we are surrounded by talent, in the supermarket, on the streets, in our households, at work, the bus stops and almost any other place imaginable. StreetPoetz.com is about the arts, not just the spoken and written symphony of words that form what we have come to know as poetry but also the various art forms that speak poetically in their own ways. We recognize poetry not only as haikus and rhymes and the vocally animated spoken word that we’ve come to know but poetry is also the poet who sketches a story on a pad in the city park with a number two pencil. It’s comes from the artist who prefers to interpret it through charcoals, oil paints and water colors. It’s frozen in time by the photographer who captures it with one click of the camera and it dances off of the notes played by the musician as a vocalist sings it to the heavens. We are all Poets and our interpretation is what sets us apart from the norm.
