YBRA, the Yellowstone Bighorn Research Association, has been a leader in earth science field education since being founded by Princeton geologists in 1936. Our scenic campus near Red Lodge, Montana is at the gateway to the Greater Yellowstone geo-ecosystem. Our authenticity is reflected in hand-made windows of the main lodge to the timbers of the Erling Dorf cabin. Field earth sciences in the mountains of Montana and Wyoming remain our calling that shapes us and will continue to do so for years to come.
