www.leondelachaux.orgIn 2012, Marie Delachaux, the artist’s great-granddaughter, established the Léon Delachaux Endowment Fund with the aim to support research on the life and work of the artist, promote and preserve his body of work, and publish a catalogue raisonne. Board of Directors President and Founder: Marie Delachaux Board members: Véronique Mareschal, Olivier Valmier, Julia Guillon Investment Committee: Emmanuel du Boullay With each member drawing from a unique set of talents, the team works collectively on all projects – events, research and marketing. The sharing of information and decision-making is key to the Fund’s operation. In 2016, the Fund was granted a dedicated research space, providing access to document resources, a library and workstations, all in a friendly and professional environment. Marie Delachaux’s team includes: - Véronique Mareschal, Endowment Fund Patron and Advisor who provides the Fund with her expert advice and contacts, bringing with her the skills of… - …Olivier Valmier who keeps an eye on the art market, public relations and research. - Julia Guillon who has inventoried more than 500 works and carried out two international assignments. - Marie-Alice Loiseau whose expertise was sought to develop a custom-designed database and documentation and archive platform. - Lucie-Eléonore Riveron who created the Fund’s website (www.leondelachaux.org) and provides her expertise as editorial consultant and graphic designer. In Oct. 2014, the Fund organized a series of lectures and an exhibition of over 80 works by Léon Delachaux at the Cercle des Nations Américaines, in Paris. Daniel Chéron restored most of the works exhibited. Julia Guillon, Marie-Alice Loiseau and Olivier Valmier make up the current research team, which has short and long-term goals. Morgane Delmas recently joined the Fund to provide the necessary tools to best implement the Fund’s communication objectives. 2017: First publication on the artist, Léon Delachaux.
