Big Muddy Urban Farm's Mission is to make sustainable agriculture accessible to all. The Farm's main aims are to develop food system knowledge and food growing skills in our community, increasing access to fresh produce, and creating safe, inclusive environments in neighborhoods. The Farm has three educational programs: A year-long Aspiring Farmer Residency, 16-week youth garden programming, and farm tours for community groups. Big Muddy currently grows learning experience and food on seven vacant lots in the Gifford Park Neighborhood of Omaha, NE.
