Serving our members The CDABC provides leadership for the profession and leadership opportunities for members through volunteer activities. The association provides information resources, products, and education opportunities for its members. Recognised as the collective voice of the profession, the association is the advocate for certified dental assisting, fostering unity among members, and is the agent for positive change. Serving our profession The CDABC is the only organisation that represents the interests of the certified dental assisting profession in British Columbia. The association provides leadership, unity, community involvement, advocacy for the profession, and is the clearinghouse for information about the profession. Serving our communities Under-serviced communities such as elders, First Nations communities, and low-income families require access to quality, affordable dental care. The CDABC encourages stakeholders to recognize the value of certified dental assistants’ training and skills in non-traditional settings as part of a multidisciplinary team. The ultimate goal is to allow CDAs to provide preventive education and services to under-serviced communities, which will greatly benefit those communities, and offer career advancement opportunities for CDAs.
