Founded in 1982 by Randy and Peggy Kinder, RKE Contractors continues serving civil and commercial markets in a big way while still maintaining its small Dexter, Missouri roots. Originally established as an excavating company focusing primarily on Mechanical Dredging via draglines, the company was forced to evolve over time as conventional hydraulic excavators changed the marketplace. Those evolutions led to a more diverse company now successfully serving multiple markets, such as general contracting, flood control, site work, excavating, and heavy civil – including design-build services.
