MCREST provides year round safe emergency shelter for homeless individuals and families across Macomb County. Our Congregational Membership has grown humbly from its initial 12 congregations to almost 75 today. The Supportive Housing Program locates safe, affordable rental housing and provides the security deposit and a portion of the first year’s rent for children and their families. The Learning and Resource Center provides our guests assistance with the application for government benefits, job readiness training, and job placement services. Once a client completes the job readiness training and determines what career to pursue, the Center assists in developing a personalized job search plan.
