We help adult and child victims who have experienced domestic violence get the help they need by co-ordinating support and services under one roof without having the client repeatedly tell their experience over and over again. York Region Centre for Community Safety helps navigate the justice, health and social services system. By creating a single entry point to multiple services, the client will receive “wrap-around” support from a collaborative team of professionals who come to the Centre, and offer choices that will fit the client’s needs or experiences.
