I am an expert in International Drug Trafficking, National Distribution by OCN’s and throughout the supply chain to the end user, and as of the 8th January 2018 I set up DJ Drugs Expert Witness Limited (Companies House Reg – 11068797). Prior to that I was in the Metropolitan Police Service from 2002 and for the majority of that time I was working with The National Crime Agency dealing with large scale drug supply/importation offences. Jan 2016 I set up the Metropolitan Police Service Drugs Expert Witness Unit, which involved training, mentoring, QA of statements and a number of other duties relating to the continued personal development and seminars. I have been involved in drug investigations in one way or another since early 1990’s and I have been offering my opinion as a Drugs Expert in courts throughout London and the surrounding counties since completing the National Crime Agency Drug Trafficking expert Witness Course in 2010. I have offered my opinion in relation to investigations ranging from international importation on hundreds of kilos of class A, B and C drugs, organised criminal networks involved in the national distribution of multi kilos of a wide variety of drugs, murders within the Chemsex environment, county lines, conspiracies to supply, £10 a point and many other facets of the drug supply industry. I can and have challenged law enforcement in relation to their prosecution case by explaining my rationale and that it was realistic to suggest the evidence had an alternative explanation. I have served over 550 detailed statements and valuations and spoken at a number of courts on approximately 50 occasions, I have quality assured countless other statements and I believe I have an excellent in depth knowledge of many areas of transaction and I know I will be able to assist in offering my opinion.
