Eco-Oil – Treatment of Contaminated Water, SA, is a Portuguese company with the largest capacity for treating water contaminated with hydrocarbons. We produce EcoGreen Power, a 100% recycled fuel oil by processing the oily waste, collected from marine and terrestrial origin MARPOL wastes – annexes 1 and 2. The treatment unit, strategically located in the port of Setubal, incorporates control technology and a centralized monitoring system, ensuring high standards of treatment efficiency as well as environmental safety. Created to treat contaminated water from tankers destined to Lisnave repair shipyard, nowadays Eco-Oil is a national and international reference as a waste treatment plant and also recycled fuel production.
