For more than eight decades, UFE has been adapting to the fast and constant pace of change while preparing professionals who are capable of dealing with those developments and new innovations. 1935 – 1946 Technical School of Finance: Major role in the introduction and implementation of a double accounting system in Mongolia used in finance and accountancy areas until 1960. 1946 – 1991 Technical School of Finance And Economics: Order of the "Red Banner of Labor" awarded by the Government for the achievements in the training of professional accountants and financial specialists. 1991 – 1996 Economics College: Training of potential innovators for the transitional economic market. 1996 - 2021 University of Finance And Economics: Three accreditation within national standards and recognition as a non-profit, public, and academic research institution.
