Established in 1993 with original legal capital of VND170 million, Tung Lam Company Limited began business in the export of agricultural and forestry products such as tea, cassava, cinnamon and star aniseed. Since then it has expanded its lines of business into a variety of products, especially in 2008 when it began construction of its own ethanol factory in Dong Nai province in southern Vietnam, with an annual capacity of 60,000 tons for both domestic and foreign consumption. The factory was put into operation in November 2009 and has received many orders from a number of foreign clients. Tung Lam has also provided real estate consulting services, in addition to producing art items and sandals and bags with style and quality on order from Japanese clients. Its markets have grown rapidly in recent years. Besides traditional markets such as China, Japan, and other Asian countries, its new markets include Europe and North America. With high quality products, perfect services and timely delivery, the prestige of Tung Lam Company is consolidated and strengthened with every passing day and it has won the complete trust of its regional and international clients. The company recruited just ten staff when it began in 1993, but today is staffed by more than 600 devoted, experienced and well-trained people.
