Crime Stoppers is not an arm of law enforcement. We are a citizen-led and supported effort connecting the community to law enforcement with the guarantee of anonymity for tipsters. Founded in Albuquerque in 1976, the Crime Stoppers model is now used by more than 1,200 organizations in all 50 states and more than 20 countries!
