Arkipelago Gothenburg
www.arkipelago.nuArkipelago is a non-profit organization targeting the employment market and a committee within the Architecture Student Division at Chalmers University of Technology. Arkipelago consists of students from Chalmers Architecture and Architecture and Engineering programs. The main goal is to create meeting points between architecture students and businesses. Arkipelago Gothenburg is also one of the local groups that together with groups from the architecture schools of Umeå, Stockholm, Karlskrona and Lund constitutes the national cooperation Arkipelago Sweden. Arkipelago wants to strengthen the contact between architecture students and the industry. Today, our main task is to organize an annual job fair held at Chalmers in February. In addition to the fair Arkipelago Göteborg is developing additional forums for students and industry to meet, for example, through a mentorship program. Another part of the group Arkipelago Gothenburg is working with our website www.arkipelago.nu/goteborg/ where we gather information about our work and the job fair. The next Arkipelago job fair is held at the 26th of February, 2020, at the atrium in the SB-building. During this afternoon, students have the opportunity to meet and talk to invited exhibitors, such as representatives from different architecture firms. The fair follows a specific theme and during the day you also have the opportunity to participate in workshops. The fair will be followed by a festive evening event where you can eat, drink and mingle with the exhibitors and other students.
