Loci is a planning, urban design, and development services company located in Portland, Oregon. Founded in 2005, Loci specializes in creating great urban neighborhoods – from initial site acquisition and entitlements through horizontal and vertical construction management. Loci is led by its founder, Matt Brown. With over 20 years experience in urban planning and development across both public and private sectors, Matt provides the oversight and management capability that is required to bring complex urban projects through to successful completion. Prior to founding Loci, Matt was a Development Manager with Williams and Dame Development (2005 – 2009), a Project Manager with the City of Portland’s Office of Transportation (1994 – 2005), and an Associate with LDR International in Columbia, MD (1989 – 1994).
