Setting out to make a difference As do most products, the Caregiver Bed was invented out of a need. Founder, Chris McCoy, of Caregiver Bed realized the gap in the marketplace when a close family member was recovering from a serious illness, and he experienced first hand the impact on a caregiver of sleeping in the “Blue chair” at the hospital. Chris said to himself, there has to be a better way. The Caregiver Company spent three years collaborating with healthcare professionals and aeronautical engineers to develop the Caregiver Bed.
