All of the world's great athletes, leaders and inspirationalists have or had advisors or coaches that lifted them to greater heights. They would all tell you that the difference between ordinary and being a household word is that they continually pushed to the next level and the level after that. They would also say that this kind of momentum, to become better than you are, is almost impossible to generate alone. With over 30 years of experience as a business leader, executive and certified coach, I have seen and been part of some amazing and incredible organizations and worked with some of the best leaders. I have mentored and coached many men and women, young and those more seasoned, toward better careers, better relationships and better lives. As a successful and influential coach, I simply do things differently. While there may be value in an indirect and circuitous coaching method for some, my experience has shown that very few have the time or energy to be gently led through a maze of open-ended questions, meandering dialogue and general principles in our quest for business or personal success.
