SUNY Geneseo First Response is a student run volunteer Basic Life Support Quick Response EMS agency that provides emergency medical services for students, faculty, staff, and visitors of SUNY Geneseo. Working in conjunction with the Geneseo Town Fire Department and the University Police Department, we respond to 400-500 medical emergencies a year. On call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from the first day of classes to the last, GFR is always there to help. All of our members are either current or prospective EMTs able to offer Basic Life Support.
