Christopher Simmonds Architect designed the first LEED Gold certified building in Ottawa – the Rideau Valley Conservation Centre. In 2008 Chris Simmonds was personally awarded a Canada Green Building Council Leadership Award for “fostering sustainable design, construction, and management in buildings in the national capital regional of Canada.”
