OceanComm enables high-speed wireless connectivity underwater, offering orders of magnitude improvement in data rate and opening the door to tetherless control of underwater vehicles. Today, any remotely controlled underwater vehicle (ROV) requires a tethered link to a vessel on the surface directly above (often as expensive as $100k/day). Our high-speed wireless modems can replace this tether which reduces, and, in some cases, eliminates the need for expensive surface support vessels.
