At Vaya, we love small businesses (SBs) and the entrepreneurs behind them. That's because SBs make the goods and services we all use every day and they provide jobs and income for most people in an economy. We believe that if SBs succeed, whole economies and countries prosper! But, we know that a succeeding as a SB is hard for many reasons. One of the big ones is that entrepreneurs struggle to get the credit they need to run and grow their businesses. Our mission at Vaya is to make the job of getting credit just a little bit easier for SB entrepreneurs. We do that by partnering with the digital platforms and marketplaces where more and more SBs are doing their work. We are building the tech that will let our partners embed or *weave in* access to credit so that SBs can get credit where they are and when they need it. That's why we named the company Vaya which means *to weave* in Sanskrit. Vaya is backed by a strong group of investors and founded by Ankit Singh and Soham Sen. Our team has a lot of experience in building products and infrastructure for payments and lending. At heart we are software product builders that are looking to assemble a special team that will redefine small business lending as we know it!
