www.ntc.upv.esThe Nanophotonics Technology Center (NTC) is a research center within the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia that develops nanotechnologies using micro/nanofabrication of silicon structures and the the development of nanotechnologies. Optical Networks & Systems Area: The area researches and develops new technologies to achieve optical communications networks with better performance and lower costs and energy. Photonic materials & Devices Area: The area is focused on the design and experimental characterization of nanophotonic devices made by the Nanofabrication line on silicon wafers. Micro/Nanofabrication & Facilities: This area offers capabilities that are unique in Spain in terms of prototyping and manufacturing silicon photonic devices, including Back-End services. Photovoltaics Area: Photovoltaic research area are focused on design, modelling, manufacturing, and characterization of silicon-based photovoltaic devices. Microwave Nanophotonics Area: The area is focused on the design and development of new integrated nanophotonic devices to improve the performance and take advantage of the Nanophotonics.
